Plank the holes in the hull: fit the tray's pieces in, and fill whole rows and columns to blast them clear.

Step by stepThe rules in full

Step by step

  1. A hole in the ship's hull open to the stars, a three-plank piece dragged up out of the tray below and outlined red where it hangs off the hull1Red: won't fit2The tray

    Step 1

Drag a piece onto the hull

Drag a piece from the tray onto the hull, or click it, then click where it goes. Pieces go in as they come: there's no turning them. A piece that won't fit where it is shows red.

  2. A square piece held at the end of a row of planks, outlined green, the row it would finish lit up1Green: it fits2The row it finishes

    Step 2

    Green means it fits

Green means it fits, and the lines it would finish light up before you let go.

  3. Great! and +1080 over the hull as rows and columns of planks blast clear, +10 on every plank1Great!

    Step 3

Fill a row or a column

Fill a whole row or column and it blasts clear. Finishing several lines with one piece pays far more.

  4. Combo 3 and Good! over the hull as a column of planks blasts away, +30 on each plank1Combo 3

    Step 4

    Clear back to back

Clear on back-to-back moves for a combo, and each clear in the chain pays more than the last.

  5. A fresh set of three pieces in the tray, the hull's patched planks in the middle1A fresh set
    1A fresh set
    Step 5

    Use all three, leave room

Place all three pieces and a fresh set arrives. Leave room for them: if none of your pieces fits anywhere, the hull gives way, the board clears and you lose a quarter of your score. Play as long as you like; every run that scores counts toward your rank.

The rules, as the game tells them

  • DRAG a piece from the tray onto the hull — or click it, then click where it goes
  • Pieces go in as they come: no turning them. Use all three and a fresh set arrives
  • Green = it fits, red = it won't; the lines it would finish light up
  • Fill a whole ROW or COLUMN → it BLASTS clear; clear on back-to-back moves for a combo
  • If none of your pieces fits anywhere, the hull GIVES WAY: the board clears and you lose a quarter of your score

Play as long as you like — every run that scores counts toward your rank; hit ← Leave when you're done.
